HUAWEI WATCH 1: is it still worth buying?

Hello everybody, nowadays,  technology develops very fast and smart watch become popular. 

So, today i will review smart watch Huawei watch 1, which is a product of Huawei Company- a company from China.
Huawei watch 1 was produced in 2015 and when the Huawei watch first came out in 2015, it was a fine example of Android Wear(Wear OS now) done well. Now, it have been about 4 years since it first came, is it still worth buying? And should you skip generation and get the newer verson?

Design
Firstly, we can see,  it has a  classic design. Up to now, it still look quite nice and fashionable, it can become part of your signature style. Huawei watch 1 have round benzel and it has 1.4 inch full circle AMOLED display with sapphire crystal. The amoled display has many advantages as  it is thinner, lighter, and more flexible than the crystalline layers of LED or LCD display, It is more energy efficiency than LED and LCD. The meterials is Cold-Forged 316L Stainless Steel,stainless steel Case. So, as you see, it is very beautiful with classic design. 

Display
Firstly, we have a screen resolution 400 x 400,it measures 1.4inch across ,10,000:1 high contrast ratio.  And with a 400 x 400 resolution, delivers the highest pixel density (at 286ppi) you’ll see on any smartwatch. For reference, most other Android Wear devices have 320 x 320 screens. The recent refresh of the Motorola Moto 360 improved things, but not by much, moving up to 360 x 330. It is such an beautiful display i have ever known.


Chipset Inside
So what inside it?
The Processor is used is Qualcom Qualcomm Snapdragon 400  1.2 Ghz(also used on LG G watch R  ), now they seldom use it on smartwatch , instead Qualcom snapdragon Wear 2100 because Snapdragon 400 is a processor made for smartphone, therefore, it isn't as optimal as Wear 2100 which is made for smartwatch. Its Internal Memory: 4GB ROM, 512MB RAM. With 4GB ROM, about 1.7GB is empty because a part is used to contain system software, it is quite comfortable to save music, images or install other applications from CH play.Over a period of use, i see it is very smooth working.



Battery
Ofcourse, for a smartwatch battery life is very important, it decide how long a smartwatch can work. And Huawei watch 1 use a batery pack 300mAh. With each charge, we can use it for 1,5 - 2days, and 1 day if connect to smart phone via bluetooth.

Something about WearOS you should know
WearOS (or Android Wear) is developed by Google, used on Huawei watch 1. Android Wear may be over, but Wear OS is now better than the former ever was thanks to updates to improve navigation, battery life and more on the platform. This list has changed a lot since we first ranked the best Android Wear watches.

One of the main reasons Google renamed its operating system is to make the watches more palatable to those who own an iPhone. Wear OS watches work with both Android and iPhones, but it's worth checking compatibility before you buy as each watch will only work with certain devices.

Now we can update Huawei watch 1 to latest WearOS version 2.24, there are many change, specially, Google assistant is  smarter. I have ever used many smartwatchs, as samsung watch(Tizen OS) and apple watch, but i very like Google Assistant, now it can help you switch your smart home.

So should we buy Huawei watch 1 and get a newer version?

Huawei watch 1 is a awesome smartwatch, and if you like classic design you should buy it, and if you like active design or other operating system the advice for you is another one as Samsung Gear , Huawei Honnor,GT  and Apple Watch. For me, it still a good smartwatch.
